This is my pop art rendition of the quintessential pop artist, Andy Warhol (1928-1987) who is famous for painting everyday objects—Campbell’s soup cans, a banana, coca-cola bottles—and often used blocks of bright colors, especially when painting portraits of pop culture figures of the day (Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando).
