This is no. 3 in my series “Hungarian Rhapsody”—a whimsical nod to my Hungarian roots, expressed as musical works—and this is my interpretation of traditional bridal attire in Hungary—and only slightly exaggerated. In fact, some of the women’s headdresses are actually larger and more extravagant than I have depicted here. My portrait is composed of acrylic paint, acrylic jewels, and paper collage, on stretched canvas.
